The Zamfara State Government has made efforts to secure the release of 10 victims who were kidnapped over three months and two weeks ago.
According to reports, three men including the father of one of the abducted Jangebe School girls, four women and three children were kidnapped in Gwaram community of Talata Mafara LGA of the state.
The State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Abubakar Dauran stated that the peace initiative of the administration of the Governor led to the release of the victims and no ransom was paid.
