Chelsea were condemned to their first defeat of the season by Liverpool, who took advantage of having an extra-man to win the Premier League clash 2-0.
The major highlight of the first half was Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen being sent off for hauling down Sadio Mane few minutes to half time.

Liverpool then took full advantage of the situation and scored two goals in the second half to win the match and continue their perfect start to the season.
Mane scored the two goals for the Premier League champions. Liverpool, unfortunately, lost their captain Henderson to injury but it gave recent signing Thiago Alacantara the opportunity to make his debut.
Chelsea failed to score a consolation goal when Jorginho missed a penalty.
