In Bauchi State, some unidentified assailants suspected of being ritualists killed an 11-year-old Almajiri named Muhd Yunusa and took his brain.
On Saturday, November 20, the tragedy occurred in the Dutsen Kofar Wambai district of Bauchi.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, the attackers approached two Almajiri students who were begging for alms and pulled them into a dark area, claiming to give them something.
The men shattered one of the boys’ heads, removed his brain, and fled to an unknown location.
When the locals arrived at the location of the incident, they discovered the student’s body and called the cops.
SP Muhammad Ahmad Wakil, spokesman for the Bauchi State Police Command, verified the event, adding, “police received a distress call from a good Samaritan that unknown persons had broken the skull of an Almajiri pupil with a stone.”
“The two Quranic school pupils are Muhd Yunusa 11 years and Aminu Yusuf 12 years. They were deceived by unknown persons who used a stone to break the skull of Yunus and escaped to an unknown destination.”
In other news, a young woman went to great heights to arrange a surprise apology for her boyfriend, but he hardly responded.
In the video sighted by Ghgossip, the woman was given what appeared to be a hotel room, complete with flowers and confetti on the bed and the words “Am sorry” spelled out.
Her boyfriend’s pals were in on it, and when they brought him into the room, she instantly kneels down and apologizes to him while crying.
Nevertheless, when the young boyfriend, who was smoking, showed no emotion, the woman’s friends asked if he would hug her to show he had forgiven her.
