After a wild baboon escaped from his cage in Agu-Awka, in Anambra State, and inflicted injuries on her, a girl in Nigeria named Chekwube Osita Dinma was rushed to the hospital, according to a post by Instablog9ja.

According to the post, the baboon which is owned by one of Mrs. Flora Ilonzo of Agu-Awka escaped from the cage and injured Dinma, who lives in the same compound with Mrs. Ilonzo with her parents.
Haruna Mohammed, the Spokesperson of the State Police Command also disclosed that that wild baboon has been captured and taken to a more secured area.
He further revealed that the owner of the baboon’s statement was taken under caution and that she was given self-recognition bail. The police spokesperson added that the victim’s father’s declaration was taken fairly.
