Surprisingly, Fireboy DML made the headlines among the awardees for the night going home with five (5) prestigious awards which includes Album of the Year, Best R&B Album, Best Pop Album, Best R&B Single,
A night like this for one artist rarely happened once in a blue moon particularly for the records of Headies Awards Show.
For the records, it was Wande Coal who won five (5) headies awards at a night in 2010.
On social media, netizens and followers of Nigerian Music Industry has used the 2020 Headies Awards of Fireboy DML awards to troll Davido.

Netizens took Fireboy DML and Davido to the weighing scale and pegged them with the Number of Headies Awards each have won with respective of their years in the music industry.
According to twitter user identified as Chelsea Babe, Fireboy DML has won five (5) Headies Awards in just two years in the Nigerian Music Industry whiles Davido a.k.a OBO has won same five (5) awards for his eleven (11) years in the Music Industry.
