First in history as the minority leaders of the parliament of Ghana walks out of parliament before the President could give the 2020 State Of The Nation’s address.
The president of Ghana Nana Akuffo-Addo is to address the nati on on the achievement of the party and what it hopes to achieve in the future for the country.
Unfortunately, members of the minority who were all dressed in black attire kept reciting the latter part of the national anthem “and help us to resist oppressors rule” continuously and walked out from the parliament holding different placard which indicated that they needed a free and fair election. Minority threatened to boycott the SONA last week for the Unpaid common funds and they executed their threat few minutes after the president assumed his seat in parliament.
This has never happened in the history of the Republic of Ghana. Some netizens have reacted to the act of the minority describing it as childish.
