According to the entertainment critic, it takes more than fame to achieve such heights on the account that out Nigerian counteroarts who have been able to fill up the place had dominance over the international market.

Speaking in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz with Nana Ama Mcbrown, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo stated that some Ghanaians artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have dominated the music scene but none of them have international appeals.

He explained that the likes of Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy had to sign international record deals for their songs to be promoted internationally in order to expand their fanbases worldwide.

He averred that Ghanaian musicians have not gained popularity internationally like their Nigerian counterparts, hence it will be impossible for them to fill up O2 Arena.

In other news, the Ghana Police Service has served notice that from January 2022, they will be inspecting Covid-19 vaccination cards in commercial buses and motorbikes. This move is to ensure that every Ghanaian is vaccinated in order to curb the spread of the virus in the country.

Furthermore, employees of all government institutions and health facilities would be denied access to their workplaces unless they can present proof of vaccination, and absence from work, for this reason, will result in a loss of pay.

Before 2022, all students aged 15 and up, as well as all teaching and non-teaching personnel at secondary and post-secondary institutions, are expected to get vaccinated.
