Money and power make a lot of people arrogant (as far as this article is concerned, we will use rude and arrogance interchangeably).

There’s a popular saying which says: ‘If you want to know the real character of a man, give him money and power.’ There are some artists who are so friendly and down to earth.

On the other hand, there are a bunch of artistes who clearly blur the lines between the status that exists between the two of you.

Let’s take a look at them.

1. Shatta Wale

The multiple award winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste is very rude, a trait which is wrapped in a very big ego. Perhaps it’s only his legions of fans who might disagree.

2. Sarkodie

Sarkodie has been called out on social media several times for this negative behavior. However he has defended himself on numerous occasions that he’s not rude, except that his ‘serious’ face wrongly depicts that.

3. Kwabena Kwabena

Some music pundits believe Kwabena Kwabena’s dead career is attributed to his arrogance. We also understand that he’s quick tempered. He’s such a fine talent regardless.

4. Tinny

Tinny is unarguably one of Ghana’s best rappers of all time. He’s been on a hiatus from the music scene for a long time. Just like Kwabena Kwabena, it’s believed his arrogance caused his downfall.

5. Kontihene

The former winner of Artist of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) is still struggling to resuscitate his music career but his arrogance has been an impediment.
