The “Artiste of the decade” category is a new category that the biggest awarding scheme Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has added to their table, anyway big ups to the organizing committee.

The new category that is gracing their 20 years of existence will be awarded to a musician who has done amazingly well in promoting Ghanaian music in the past ten years.

The musicians who have been nominated for this category are Becca, Efya, Joe Mettle, No Tribe and Nacee, Okyeame Kwame, R2Bees, Samini, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
