Before you say ghgossip.com has launched a vendetta against popular news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah, let me quickly remind you that we have nothing against her.
This happens to all celebs worldwide, and our dear Nana Ama has no immunity against this kind of scrutiny.
Moreover, she’s one of the people I admire so much but her arrogance and ‘too-known’ persona somewhat makes her unlikable to many people.
Okay so let me take you through some yawa (awkward situations) that Nana Aba Anamoah has been involved in over the years which to some extent, dented her reputation.
#1. Journey to Old Trafford Stadium
In 2015, Nana Aba Anamoah flirted with controversy when she took some photos from some friends, posted them on twitter to create the impression that she was in the Old Trafford Stadium to watch a Manchester United match.
One of the pictures, which had the face of one of its owners, was cropped to exclude him. Those who actually owned the pictures challenged and exposed her when she posted the pictures on twitter.
This caused her a huge embarrassment leading to her dismissal from her employers, TV3.
#2. Her Issues With Viasat 1
Here, Nana Aba Anamoah actually did no wrong. During her time with TV3, she heaped fire and brimstone on Viasat one for starting a media war with TV3 and GhOne.
It all started when Head of Own Production at Viasat 1, Sadeeq Abdulai Abu mocked the other stations through their satiric award scheme, Jigwe Awads.
This angered Nana Aba Anamoah so much that she took them on boot for boot, thereby ‘dirtying’ herself in public.
#3. TV3’s Suspension
This one has to do with the photoshop thievery. Although the general public, including the then Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture, Abla Dzifa Gomashie pleaded for leniency, the management of the giant TV network gave her the boot.
#4. Her issues with Manasseh Azuri
In the wake of Nana Aba’s issues with TV3 over photoshop thievery and dishonesty, popular journalist Manasseh Azuri used the opportunity to subtly settle personal scores with her.
In one of his famed articles, Manasseh’s Folder, the journalist exposed how ‘dishonest’ Nana Aba Anamoah is.
Here’s what he wrote:
“I was watching TV3 news one evening and the news anchor read an introduction to a story about some wheel chair-bound physically disabled men fighting.
The news caster said TV3 news team was going for an assignment and chanced on the scene near Opeibea in Accra. When the story started rolling, however, it didn’t look like a story a news crew chanced on.
The story looked like it was staged, even though the fight appeared fierce and real. The narration started with a video that showed one of the men going to the scene of the fight in a wheel chair.
The other also came from a different direction and they met and started talking. Then a disagreement ensued and the fighting followed. All this was captured by the supposed TV3 camera. I had many questions about that story by Nana Aba Anamoah.
At what point did the news crew chance on the two disabled men? How did they know that the men would fight if they met, for which reason the news crew had to follow them with their camera until they met, argued and started fighting? The story did not show any interview of the two men or any account by an eyewitness so who told the reporter that they were fighting over a woman and 50pesewas?”
#5. Giving a job to Vicky Lebene
We published this viral story on September 6 of a young aspiring news anchor called Zeinatu Erebong Issahaku whose desire of landing her dream job came crashing down, thanks to popular news anchor, Nana Aba Anamoah.
Apparently the news spread very quickly and it caught the attention of Nana Aba Anamoah who instantly got furious and blocked ghgossip.com on Twitter.

Just recently, the father of Nana Aba Anamoah’s son, identified as Osebo real name Richard Brown exposed Nana Aba as liar for saying he neglected their son for the past 16 years.
After Osebo spilled the beans and revealed the real reason why he lost contact with his son, Nana Aba Anamoah went mute on us after revealing to the whole world Osebo was an irresponsible father.
