Well it is safe to say apart from the charade these modern pastors engage in which make Christianity a joke, they like to be called by their nicknames which they proudly hang around their necks and brandish in our faces (not literally) as though their lives depend on it.

A nickname is a familiar or humorous name given to a person or thing instead of or as well as the real name. Ghanaian pastors seem to wield much importance when these names are ascribed to their personalities. They gloat over it as it set them apart from other rival pastors which to some extent also demonstrates the depth of their supernatural powers.

These pastors incidentally have a large following who cling on to all the bizarre things they perpetuate in the name of Christianity. Yes, these pastors are controversial with series of mind boggling controversies trailing them well. One of them who goes by the name Dito Dito unfortunately died under strange circumstances in 2017. Although the cause of his death was shrouded in secrecy, multiple sources said he died as a result of his occultism practises.

Most of these pastors herein are no longer popular as they used to before the emergence of Rev Obofour and Angel Obinim. Another pastor on this list was arrested and charged for molesting his own daughter in 2010. A circuit court in Accra said this famous pastor repeatedly r*ped his 10-year-old daughter every day before going to church. State prosecutor Sarah Quarcoo has told the court that after r*ping the little girl, the pastor would use a white handkerchief to wipe the s*xual fluids, which he took with him to the church. He was consequently charged on two counts of defilement.

So the bottom line here is that these pastors who are so much into the praise of men have their credibility as men of God under serious doubt owing to their questionable character. Anyway, without wasting much of your time, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the subject.
