Philip Ametepey from Kasoa Transformer in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region was reportedly kidnapped by some unknown men who are currently wanted by the police.

According to reports, Philip was forced into a sack by the kidnappers after he was sent on an errand by his parents but fortunately for him, he managed to escape. This was said to have happened yesterday around 7:30 pm.
Speaking to Kasapa FM, Philip narrated his ordeal by saying he was sent by his mother to buy a blade when he was captured by these kidnappers who tied him up in the sack.
He claims that the kidnappers covered his mouth with a handkerchief and when he woke up, he found himself in the sack.
He revealed that he found a way to escape by using the razor he has been sent to buy, cutting the sack, and escaped from what could have been his end.
“I was suffocating and really suffering in the sack. It was a terrifying moment but in the midst of my situation, I remembered that my mum’s blade I’d bought for her was in my pocket. So I quickly removed it and used to cut the sack and I escaped without their notice” he narrated.
However, the Kasoa police station is currently on a manhunt for the kidnappers as they launch investigations to bring the culprits to book.
