One of the pioneers of the Nollywood movie industry is Alex Osifo. He was born on the 16th of April, 1953 in Lagos Nigeria. He was born to Barnabas and Patricia Anobi Omiagbo. His father worked at the central bank of Nigeria and rose to a managerial level.
Alex had his basic/primary education in Ibadan and later his family moved to Edo State after the civil war where he completed his secondary education at St JohnBosco’s Grammar at Ubiaja. Alex got his first degree at Ambrose Ali University. He also has a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in information and resources management.

Alex Osifo is a well-known actor in the Nollywood industry and he is normally featured in “a bad guy” role. He plays the role of a villain in most of his movies. He started his acting in 1984 and was given recognition in 1988 when he starred in Zeb Ejiro’s soap Opera, Ripples.
