Outspoken filmmaker and actress, Lydia Forson has slammed Media General and media houses for not caring about their staffs and their emotional feelings.
This concern from Lydia Forson comes after a Facebook fan raised concern about how TV3 was busy promoting an episode of Date Rush with Abena Korkor after she had a relapse a few days ago. Abena Korkor has been in the news for a few days after she updated her “infamous” list of men she has slept with.

Abena Korkor has been trending on social media for a few days after she went live on her Instagram page to mention some names of men she has had a sexual relationship with. One of the people she mentioned was her former colleague at TV3, Giovanni Caleb.
Apparently, the new episode of Date Rush which is being promoted has Giovanni Caleb hosting Abena Korkor on the show. Many people have expressed their disappointment in TV3 for launching the episode, getting ready to show it on television on Sunday.
Some fans have shown concern about the “insensitive” of the media house despite the brouhaha. A fan identified as Jay Abrafi Gyebi wrote on Facebook, “TV3 promoting an episode of date rush for this week with Abena Korkor when she worked with them to jump on the “hype” around her this week…..really? Entertainment is rough but it’s run by people. Be sensitive”.
In response, Lydia Forson also wrote, “It’s a rating game and not sentimental. It’s why I treat the media in the same regard. They don’t care about anyone. Next week sef they will do a show on mental health….SMH”.
