Renowned Ghanaian counselor, Counselor Adofoli has revealed what a good relationship really means.

The renowned relationship expert made this known in a recent post on his Facebook page which he titled, ‘LIES ARE DEADLY TO RELATIONSHIPS’.

It reads;

“One of the ingredients for a great relationship or marriage is Openness. We all like light, no one wants to be in the dark. This is why it is important to mainta in the light in whatever relationship you find yourself in rather than keeping someone else in the dark.
Getting led on hurts, it hurts to know that the feelings you felt were for someone who was filled with lies and games.

A good Relationship is when both of you share what happens every day in your life, with no secrets or lies.

Growth is not possible in any relationship where there is no truth. Lies are a deadly cancer to your relationship for no relationship built on lies will ever last! A lie is a lie, no matter how white it is.
If you genuinely love someone don’t ever decorate their eyes with tears, their ears with lies and their heart with scars.

It is said that a man should never have to pay for a woman’s past relationship issues; but if your actions are similar and you get caught in the same lies, she will not stay on love street when you have sent her down memory lane.

It is also hard to settle down again when you have been lied to and played like a game. It makes it hard for you to trust the next person.

You always have second thoughts about them being like your ex or wondering what they might turn out to be without knowing if what they are telling you is the truth or a lie. You are blinded to the real genuine people.

Keep in mind: You are not a child, no body has to tell you lies to keep you happy. You are grown, they should tell you what it is, what it isn’t, and what it is going to be.

In conclusion, “That which is desirable in a man is his loyalty and unfailing love, But it is better to be a poor man than a [wealthy] liar” – Proverbs 19:22 (AMP).”
