Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy deepened their age-long beef in a Hollywood movie style during the just ended VMGA . Right after Stonebwoy was declared winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year, Shatta Wale and his SM soldiers walked to the podium and advanced towards Stonebwoy.
The organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse consequently banned the two in a televised press conference on Thursday- May 22 and stripped them off all the awards they won on the night, a decision that has caused a huge uproar in Ghana.
Apparently it’s not ONLY Stonebwoy the SM boss has a problem with. Shatta Wale has gained notoriety in beefing almost everyone he sees a threat in the music industry.

Shatta Wale Vs Iwan:
When Shatta Wale returned from his hiatus thus from the then Bandana to Shatta Wale, he released a diss song to rival dancehall artiste Iwan titled Letter to Iwan.
Shatta Wale and Samini:
After he was done, then came his beef with Samini. In the middle of their feud, Samini released a diss song aimed at Wale titled Gbebi and Wale responded with Sixth Letter to Samini.
Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy:
These two dancehall artistes started their banal feud as far back as somewhere 2012 and till date, they have not smoked the peace pipe. This landed both of them in cells with a Ghc50,000 bail. The awards they had for 2019 VGMAs have been stripped off them and they have been suspended indefinitely for taking part in the scheme. All these follow when Shatta Wale mounted the stage as Stonebwoy made way to take his award which prompted him to pull a gun.
Shatta Wale And Kwaw Kese:
The Swedru-Agona hitmaker Kwaw Kese took a swipe at Shatta Wale for daring to preach unity and love amongst musicians when he is the first to always a diss song when something goes south between himself and an artiste. Shatta Wale, of course, labelled him childish for spewing that much garbage.
Shatta Wale And Sarkodie:
Then came his beef with Sarkodie. Few Days to Wale’s Reign album launch on Oct. 13 at Fantasy Dome of the Accra International Trade Fair Centre, Sarkodie released a diss song dubbed, ‘my Advice.’
The iconic rapper raised a lot of salient points wrapped in direct insult at his new adversary but one cursory line which caught our attention was the part he told Shatta Wale that his soul was tormented and that’s why he so afraid of Stonebwoy.
