The late Super OD, real name Asonaba Kwaku Darko, was laid to rest in his native Agona Abodom in the Central Region of Ghana.

The late actor and comedian died few weeks ago after brief illness at the Swedru Govement Hospital.

To keep his legacy alive and acknowledge his immense contribution towards the act, Ghanaian Highlife musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu has said the late should be honoured with a monument.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV with Maame Nhyira, the musician stated that such a man like Super OD who used to take away sorrows and sadness of people with his comedies should be honoured with a monument.

“He deserves a monument in the country; he trained many actors and his movies touched a lot of hearts, he said.

Nana Ampadu also urged movie actors to watch their ways of life.

“We should be aware that movies touch hearts than political talks. We are celebrities and need to watch our ways. There are things [about us] that don’t even deserve to be on social media”, he concluded.
