Legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician Agya Koo Nimo,h as advised Ghanaian artistes to spend their money in a prudent manner.
His call comes in the wake of incessant stories of stars asking for aid from government.
He said the current crop of artistes are earning a lot as compared to their era but admonished that money is not everything but discipline will take them far.
Speaking to Kumasi based Abusua FM,Agya Koo Nimo who is also an accomplished guitarist,explained that money is not all that matters but then with the right attitude and discipline,the current crop of musicians can achieve a lot.
“When we started music back then,the focus wasn’t about money.We wanted people to see the talent we posses and the passion for music.I will advise the young ones to work hard for money but then they should spend it judiciously.”
Agya Koo Nimo also disclosed that the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has appointed him as a resident scholar and they are going to digitize his songs for academic purposes.
