In a sad report, a tutor at the prestigious Achimota School has allegedly committed suicide.
This was confirmed by the Accra Regional Police Command and per what we gathered, the police has commenced investigation into the death of the 48-year-old Physics tutor.

The police revealed that the tutor is identified as Clifford Nkrumah and he allegedly committed suicide as he was found hanging on the ceiling in his room on September 16. His body has since been deposited the body at the Police Hospital for autopsy.

Speaking on the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, DSP Juliana Obeng said;
“The incident happened yesterday [Thursday] in the school. He was found hanging on the ceiling in his room. The Police Command has initiated investigations into the incident.”
This adds up to the numerous cases of suicide across the country. Recently, statistics revealed that the rate at which suicide cases are rising in the country is very alarming.
