People have maintained the opinion that the church simply does not need tithes since it is only used to enrich the pastors. It seems actor John Dumelo share in the same view.
According to the father of one, he would rather use his money meant for tithes to help the poor and needy than the church.
“I give my tithe to the needy most of the time. I think they need it more than the ‘church’. I don’t know if it’s wrong”.
