Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo who is widely known as RMD used his recent social media post to educate social media users on the true meaning of the phrase, TIME IS MONEY.
According to him, the true meaning of TIME IS MONEY probably lies in the fact that like money, time is spent but the other amazing thing about time is that it is both an asset and a commodity.

He went on to say that time 𝚊s an asset is strongly tied to it being a commodity adding that there is no commodity without time investment.

Making an example, he stated that honing your self, skills and talent requires time investment. He made this known in a lengthy Instagram which reads;

Time 𝚊s an asset is strongly tied to it being a commodity. There is no commodity without TIME INVESTMENT. Honing your self, skills and talent requires TIME INVESTMENT.
The time spent on acquiring knowledge, learning a skill, developing oneself becomes the asset that you convert into a commodity. There are people who are paid to “just show up”, NOT to speak, sing, dance, perform… just show up, that is the ultimate TIME AS A COMMODITY.
I cannot tell you what to do with your time but I can tell you what not to do with it, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! It is your asset and potential commodity.
