Rita Edochie, an actress, has chastised the Imo state administration for allowing pupils to attend school amid an IPOB sit-at-home order.
The actress revealed this in response to a viral video showing kids from the Comprehensive Secondary School in Nkume, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, running helter-skelter after being attacked while studying for the ongoing JSSCE on Monday, September 13. The ESN members are accused of attacking students and teachers for disobeying the IPOB members’ sit-at-home command.
In a video shared via her Instagram page, students could be seen running during the attack. She captioned.
”IT’S NOT JUST TO ASK PEOPLE TO GO ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS .
NOW LOOK AT THESE CHILDREN YOU ASKED TO COME OUT FOR EXAMS RUNNING OUT OF THEIR SCHOOL.
WAS THERE ANY SECURITY TO SECURE THESE CHILDREN ?
NOW IF ANYTHING HAD HAPPENED TO ANY OF THEM, THE SAME PEOPLE WILL ONLY SAY SORRY TO THEIR FAMILY.
IN FACT I BLAME THE PARENTS THAT ALLOWED THEIR CHILDREN TO GO THROUGH THIS.”
Recall that Veteran actress, Rita Edochie took to social media to dole out a word of caution to young ladies to shun the pressure to enhance their body through surgery.
According to Rita Edochie, following after body enhancements end up giving cancer and other diseases to women so they should resist the urge to go under the knife.
She shared a video of herself, Destiny Etiko and Crystal Okafor shaking their bums as they danced to music playing in the background.
