South African rapper and songwriter, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA has also reacted to the #ENDSARS protest.

AKA explained why African leaders have decided to keep mute about the ongoing killing of peaceful protestors in Nigeria. He said that most African leaders are very old and so, therefore, do not care about the future of the youth because they won’t live to see it.
In a tweet, he wrote; “60% of Africa’s population is under 25 years old. The average age of its 10 oldest leaders is 78. The real reason they don’t give a shit about our futures is because they won’t be around to see it.”
