1. Re-establishing trust: Good people often make bad decisions and this is no way justifying the act. Nothing on this earth will justify it. But then again if a partner cheats, it does not necessarily mean he or she will do it again. The onus is on the individual to give the cheating partner a second chance or not. And if the decision is in the affirmative then trust has to be re-established. Some partners actually deserve this second chance.
