Mr. Martin Amidu, Special Prosecutor has expressed his gut against a Ghanaian named Nii Tettey Tetteh who wrote a letter to the Office of Special Prosecutor (OSP), asking the office to take a keen investigation into the controversial Agyapa Royalties Deal.

Special Prosecutor, Mr. Martin Amidu, has in this case expresses his temperament to the request made by Mr. Nii Tetteh, saying that his letter that seek to ask the OSP to engage in a clear and extensive investigation on the controversial Agyapa Royalties deal is in bad faith.

For the reason being that, the investigation action has already been taken by the Office of Special Prosecutor.

Mr. Matin Amidu therefore believes Mr. Nii Tettey Tetteh’s letter to his office only seek to acclaim undeserving credit from Ghanaians.

He told Mr. Tetteh “Your letter under reference, therefore, appears to this office as an opportunistic and populist enterprise on your part to take credit for processes already independently commenced by this Office,”

Moreover, Special Prosecutor Mr. Martin Amidu has squashed the petition letter of Mr. Nii Tettey Tetteh, saying it’s one full of mere speculations, with no valuable facts that the government can backed them by the law and process it to the court.
