Zylofon Media Boss, Nana Appiah Mensah faced criticisms after he controversially stated that the late Ebony had wanted to leave her RuffTown Records and asked him to free her from slavery by signing his bailout fee purported to be $100,000 .

The ‘harmless’ comment caused a huge public outcry which made Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM arrange a quick ‘press conference’ on his radio station, Zylofon FM to clarify his stance.

However, Bullet who was not enthused at all bout the conduct of NAM, has jabbed him in a new interview on OK FM, revealing that he money they had invested in Ebony throughout her career alone was more than $100,000.

He also added that even US superstar Akon was on the verge of signing Ebony for Akon’s ‘Konvict Music’ and make her a global star.

According to Bullet, the money involved in that deal alone would have been more than that paltry $100,000 sum Appiah Mensah was mentioning.

He said:

Ebony was not in bondage. She was an artiste who I can say was even dictating to management. She wasn’t under any strict management. Contracts have clauses in them but if she wanted a bail out, due to the relationship that existed between us, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Perhaps someone tried to persuade her with an amount.

“The amount invested in Ebony was even more than $100,000. How much is $100,000? Is Ebony worth $100,000? The biggest artiste in Ghana now; her bail out is $100,000? $100,000 is the price of Gadoe’s watch. That is not money. To respect her value as an artiste, you shouldn’t even mention $100,000. I don’t get it. Bail out in which way?”
