The Akufo-Addo led government has extended the provision of free water for all Ghanaians to the end of the year.

The reportage was announced by the government through a press release from the Ministry of Sanitation Water and Resources.

According to the press statement, the extension of the free water is to allow Ghanaians to adhere to the various safety measures to fight the deadly global pandemic Covid19.

The public is hereby advised to wash their hands with soup under raining water and also use it judiciously.

Water tankers and landlords have however been cautioned not to charge anyone because the government has already paid for it.

President Nana Akufo-Addo as part to help control the rate at which people will contract the virus provided free water for all Ghanaians from March.

Initially, the free water from the government was expected to end this month but the president has ordered the Ghana Water Company to extend it to the end of the year.
