According to report culled from Mynewsgh.com, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has confirmed Mr James Oppong Boanuh as the substantive Inspector-General of Police, after a consultation with the Council of State
Mr James Oppong Boanuh, who was the Deputy IGP on Monday, July 22, 2019 was directed by the President to act in the stead of his immediate boss, Mr David Asante Apeatu who was asked to proceed on leave prior to his retirement on August 14, 2019.
He comes to the job with a rich experience and a tall list of achievements, spanning three decades.
