Director of Communications at Ghana’s Presidency, Eugene Arhin has brushed aside reports that President Nana Addo was flown out of the country to London for the Novel Covid-19 treatment.
A publication made by the Herald Newspaper claimed the President had been flown to London for treatment after a close circle of him tested positive for Covid-19 but Mr. Arhin says the report is completely false.
Responding to the false reports via Facebook, Eugene Arhin wrote:
“Kindly disregard the FALSE STORY published by the Herald Newspaper to the effect that the President has been “flown out of the country to London for COVID-19 treatment”. It is clearly a figment of the author’s imagination.
The President is in the country, and he’s currently at the Presidential Villa in Jubilee House, observing the 14-day self-isolation precautionary measure, in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.”
