Former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Alex Kofi Mensah Mould has confirmed the death of his daughter Naa Densua Mould.

She died following a short illness, according to a post on Facebook.

It is reported that Naa died from malaria. She travelled to the Indian Ocean island country to celebrate the Christmas holidays.

She arrived at the Indian ocean island on December 23, 2019. She was diagnosed of Malaria that very day but passed on on the 1st January 2020 because the health facility could not give her proper health care.

An aide of Mr Mould, Onasis Kobby broke the news that the 28-year-old was quarantined after the discovery of her ailment but the health agency in the country had little success in treating it.

Her father Mr Mould was forced to travel to the island to get his daughter transferred to London but his efforts were not successful since Naa Densua had been quarantined.

The parents of the deceased are currently in Mauritius, preparing to move the body to Ghana for her interment.
