The President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has come under criticism after it was revealed that he rented a private jet for his France trip which costs about 15,000Euros per hour.

Recall, the Minority in parliament demanded that the Akufo Addo-led government come to account for the unnecessary use of the country’s wealth while there were options to serve the same purpose.
Well, according to a section of them, it is very absurd for the President to be thinking of luxury while the country faces different levels of predicaments that are affecting the economy of the country.
In reaction to that, US-based Ghanaian social media commentator, Twene Jonas who is known for his harsh and constructive sentiments on the leadership in Ghana has slammed the President.
In a video he posted on his IG wall, Twene Jonas expressed his displeasure in the President’s decision to hire a private jet that cost 15,000Euros per hour while there is a Presidential jet for him to use.
He said that said money used for what he describes as “needless expense” could have been used to sort out some of the sectors in the economy which is lacking growth.
He said; Someone should tell Akufo Addo the fooling is getting too much, this money can create jobs for the people who voted for him. think! think!! think!!! Never do such a mistake again. I will press our aimless leaders until they do their jobs right 💪🏽 The system is working 24/7
