Born Jackeline Acheampong, but affectionately known as Gyakie is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter. Gyakie has carved a name for herself in the Ghanaian music industry following the enormous success of her most popular song “Forever”.

Born to the legendary Highlife maestro, Nana Acheampong of the defunct Lumba Brothers, Gyakie began her music career at an early age since she had the maestro as her father. She already knew how to attune her ears to listen to good music and figure out different tones.

She made her professional debut in 2019, and her debut EP, Seed, was published in August of 2020. Her debut appearance was in the song “Sor Mi Mu” with Bisa Kdei, and she rose to prominence after the song “Never Like That”.

Due to the enormous progress her her “Forever” song, Gyakie proceeded by tapping into the Nigerian market by recruiting Omah Lay on the remix version. She amassed huge success and earned a place in the heart of many music lovers.

Gyakie hails from Abuakwa, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region but was born and raised in Bompso, a suburb of Kumasi. She had her secondary education in TI Amass and studied International Business at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology which she graduated this year. Gyakie is just 22-years of age and is already doing wonders with her amazing singing talent.

Gyakie has revealed on many platforms that she is single but she writes most of her love songs by imagining her future love life with her Mr. Right.

Per numerous sources on the internet, Gyakie is said to have an estimated net worth of $300,000.
