Media personality Ama K Abebrese has taken songstress Becca over her ‘insensitive’ comments about racism as she compares the murder of George Floyd to her being criticized for marrying a Nigerian.
Becca earlier today posted on her twitter page saying Ghanaians are talking about racism in the US but heavily criticized and back-lashed her for marrying a Nigerian who happens to be an African like her.
Ama K Abebrese while reacting to that schooled Becca on the differences between what is happening in the US and the tribalism in Ghana saying marriage is murder therefore her comments didn’t come well.
Sis they are both wrong, however it’s incomparable to equate the fight for the systemic racism in the USA to African tribalism in marriage and hypocrisy .
You can highlight that without appearing to diminish the fight about police brutality. Murder is not marriage. Love alwaysshe wrote
