The original song, ‘Sad Girlz Luv Money’ which was released in September 2020 features Moliy, a sensational songstress and songwriter of Ghanaian and American descent.
‘Sad Girlz Luv Money’ was pulled of Amaarae’s album, “The Angel You Don’t Know”. On this well curated remix, the ‘Like It’ crooner, Amaarae connects with Kali Uchis, a popular American female vocalist.
Amaarae, born Ama Serwah Genfi is well noted for her work around representation of gender and race in music. She dropped her debut 6 track EP, ‘Passionfruit Summers’ in 2017 and has been consistent throughout the years.
