The founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Amazon, Jeff Bezos has announced his intentions of stepping down as the CEO of the company.

Bezos founded the now multi-million dollar company, Amazon in 1994 as an online bookstore but now rated at the world’s largest online sales company.
He is also regarded as the second richest man on earth after South African Elon Musk surpassed him early this year.
His decision to step down comes after heading the company for almost about 27 years. Andy Jassy will now take over the CEO position of the company.
