Well-known Ghanaian rapper and performing artiste, Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, best known as Amerado is set to perform at the 2022 Afrobash.
Amerado is a multifaceted musician with a unique approach to making music. He became well-known when he was crowned the winner of DM Network’s Promo Plan for Upcoming musicians. He’s also the curator of ‘Yeete Nsem’, Ghana’s first news casting rap series.
The multiple award winning rap artiste and entertainer has been mentioned as one of the performers for this year’s Afrobash which has been scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2022 in the United Kingdom.

Organized by Evision Music Group Limited, the 2022 Afrobash will take place at the Club Onyx, Bletchley – Milton Keynes. Afrobash 2022 will also see performances from Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick, Wendy Shay, among others.
Meanwhile; Well-known Ghanaian music group, Keche bagged an award for the best group of the year at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA was held on Friday night, July 8 into the early hours of Saturday, July 9, 2022. The event marks its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ghana Entertainment Awards USA is aimed at projecting the achievements of Ghanaian creatives and entertainers excelling in various crafts in and outside Ghana. The event also uses the platform to celebrate and promote Ghanaian talents.
This years edition took place at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York. Renowned music duo, Keche won the best group of the year as they beat R2Bees, Dope Nation and Lali & Lola to win the coveted prize.
