Media personality Anele Mdoda’s comments came back to taunt her on Kelly Rowland’s birthday. As the saying goes, the internet never forgets, and indeed it didn’t.
Today was Kelly Rowland’s 40th birthday and as always tweeps took to Twitter to remind Anele for her comment against the former Destiny Child singer some years ago. Ok, if you have forgotten let’s give you a little reminder; in 2019, Anele came under fire after she said in a now-deleted tweet that the former Destiny’s Child member only “looks amazing with make-up” and she has “the receipts” to prove it.
The comment has ever since ‘hunted’ her anytime Kelly Roland’s issue sprang up on social media or the American singer post a photo of herself on social media. Today marks the ‘Dilemma’ hitmaker’s 40th and tweeps once again took to the micro-blogging platform to remind Anele of her comment.
