One of Ghana’s most controversial pastors, Daniel Bishop Obinim, who is known to his congregation as Angel Obinim, has featured in a Kumawood movie. The movie, Obofour Wo Krom features the General Overseer of the International God’s Way Church and other Kumawood stars like Kwaku Arhin aka Abrobe, Benedicta Gafah and Blessed Adjei.
According to the producer, Blessed Adjei, the movie is a true life story of someone. “It is a story about someone who lives abroad. He had a serious problem and through Bishop Obinim,he got it solved. His story was so touching that I decided to use it for a movie,”
Blessed further explained that he discussed the story with Bishop Obinim and he accepted to play a role in the movie. As of now, it is not clear what specific role Bishop Obinim plays in the movie but the producer has described Obinim’s role as ‘awesome.’
“He found the role very simple. His facial expressions, continuity and everything were on point. He remembered his lines without missing a word. I will give him ‘excellent’,” he added.
