A mother of three who claims to have invested GH¢760,000 into Menzgold has warned that the country will be too small to contain the aggrieved customers and the President of the Republic if he fails to speak up on happenings.
According to her, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo must immediately intervene in the matter before victims of the company commit suicide reiterating her threat that Ghana will be too small to contain them if that happens.
“The President has to speak. If he does not speak concerning the issue, what is happening in Ghana here, all of us it will not contain us”, the aggrieved customer threatened.
“If the president does not speak concerning this issue we are going to die. The president has to talk, he has to do something about the situation not to protect this man. We need our money…me alone my money is 7.6 billion old currency. I cannot leave it for this man to spend it” she stated.
The customers who have their cash locked up with the company, are at a loss as to why regulators and the authorities of financial institutions are not going after Nana Appiah Mensah otherwise known as NAM 1 who is said to be the owner of the company.
Meanwhile, a private legal practitioner Amanda Clinton has revealed that affected customers of the company are up to 1.8 million insisting government must lead the charge to find out everything that has happened at Menzgold since its advent.
