Reports reaching us indicate that a Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State, Alhaji Yusau Dissi, was reportedly kidnapped.
He was kidnapped alongside nine others by by unknown gunmen and these incidents occurred simultaneously across the state.

The attack in Katsina reportedly saw the death of two people Nuru Lawal at Kandawa village and one Aminu Mai Unguwar at Dan Alhaji village in Batsari Local Government Area.
In another attack at Matazu, these kidnappers reportedly targeted the APC chairman in the local government area, and after they succeeded in kidnapping him, two other residents were kidnapped alongside.
