In a recent statement revealed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, it was revealed that the party is ready to receive back some prominent politicians who left the party.
Notable among these personalities are former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, former senate president Bukola Saraki and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.

This comes after Senator Barnabas Gemade and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara returned to the party.
The statement reads;
“We assure all true progressives who left the party over whatever grievance to return and join ongoing efforts to reposition the APC and further achieve our pro-people plans for the country.”
