Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo widely called Sarkodie has asked that diplomatic passports should be given to African artists.

His claims suggest that the government should provide diplomatic privileges to artists because they also contribute to putting the country out there to the world. He believes it shouldn’t be a hassle for artistes to go outside their homeland to spread the good news about their country.

She disclosed this on Saturday, April 23, 2022 while talking to the media in Paris as the ‘Accra in Paris’ concert draws near.

He said;

“ I don’t have to hustle trying to go spread the good news about my own country. As artists, we are also ambassadors who sheen more light on our country, and need to own diplomatic passports so it will be easier for artists when traveling.”

The ‘Accra In Paris’ (AIP) concert is scheduled to happen on April 23. Ghanaian artists such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Kwabena Kwabena are undoubtedly going to enthrall music fanatics at the highly anticipated show.

Meanwhile, Sarkodie spared no time to congratulate young Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur.

These congratulatory words come after the latter released his latest album dubbed, Son of Jacob on Friday, April 22.

Sarkodie made the post on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter and it reads;
