The protracted case involving captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan and three others namely; Chris Handler, Sarah Kwablah and Ekow Micah has finally come to an end at the Accra High Court.
The aforementioned people were dragged to court by Gyan for
for conspiracy and extortion after Ms Kwablah had alleged he raped her.
However, the court presided over by Her Honour Afia Agbanu Kumador did not find the defendants guilty of all the charges and has consequently acquitted and discharged them.
The court said the prosecution had not been able to prove that a prima facie case has been established against the accused persons.
This happens to be the second case Asamoah Gyan has lost in recent time. Remember the DNA result of three kids which favoured his wife; proving that indeed he’s the real father of all the three kids.
