Legendary Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has been ruled out of action for the rest of 2020 due to injury.

It is unclear when and where Gyan suffered the injury but he is expected back on the field in two weeks, according to Legon Cities coach Bashir Hayford.

Hayford told reporters after his side suffered their third defeat in the Ghana Premier League against Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday.

“He [Asamoah Gyan] is injured and he can’t play. He went to the physio and he has been given two weeks that he cannot kick a ball”.

Gyan has not scored a goal since joining Legon Cities in a mouthwatering deal.
