International Ghanaian striker, Asamoah Gyan, alias Baby Jet has recently joined Ghanaian Premier League side Legon Cities on a four-year deal and is set to earn $1 million.

The striker who has been without any club since the beginning of the year because Kumasi Asante Kotoko refused to meet his demands has finally accepted to join the Legon-based football club on a four-year deal which will earn him $1 million.

The former captain of the Ghana Black Stars also urged the Ghana Premiere League to sign Mathew Cudjoe who played on a loan for Kuamsi Asante Kotoko but was not signed on a permanent deal.

The 34-year-old is returned to the local league, 17 years after leaving Liberty Professionals.

He has gone on to play in the Premier League with Sunderland and dominated United Arab Emirates league. The Al Ain striker won the league’s golden boot three times.

Gyan has scored 51 goals for the Black Stars since his debut in 2003.
