Legon Cities record signing striker, Asamoah Gyan will not available for their first Ghana Premier League match of the 2020/21 season.

The striker is not match fit, having sat out of action for a long time. The last time Gyan

played a competitive match was in November.

He started training recently after completing his move to Legon Cities.

Gyan has not trained with his teammates this week and according to coach Goran Barjaktarevic, he will not play against Berekum Chelsea.

Asamoah Gyan is one experienced player and he’s still got some problems with injury.” Head Coach Barjaktarevic said.

“We are working to get him fit because it is very important when he comes back, he comes back in good shape”.

According to reports, Legon will pay Gyan a total of one million dollars for the four-year deal.
