Stonebwoy seems to have shot himself in the foot when he claimed an unk nown killer had wanted to take his life and that of his wife moments before the historic Ashaiman to the World
Ashaiman District Police Commander, Supt Seth Tay, has stated categorically that there was no assassination attempt on Stonebwoy’s life at the event.
In the early hours of Sunday, few hours after the show, Stonebwoy posted on his Facebook page that there was an attempt on his life.
He wrote:

However in a sharp rebuttal Supt Seth Tay, insists that his officers were present on the grounds and no incident of the sort was mentioned.
In an interview with Adom News, the Police Commander indicated that there were other disturbances at the concert but Stonebwoy’s claim cannot be substantiated.
This revelation could go a long way to dent Stonebwoy’s brand. Some Ghanaians bloggers and entertainment critics maintain that Stonebwoy cooked up the story to save himself from the ‘disgrace’ meted out to him by Shatta Wale on stage.
