Reports from the Talensi North District in the Upper East Region of Ghana indicate that a man has sacrificed his two children to gods of a shrine, and has subsequently murdered his lovely wife.
This acts has left residents in the area very astonished as residents can’t seem to comprehend how a man with all senses working would commit such atrocity.
In an eyewitness account, the man identified as Collins Yagbil allegedly dragged his 8-year son to his shrine to offer the sacrifice, but his little daughter of about two years entered as well so he had no choice than to sacrifice both children.
Immediately after killing the boy and spilling the blood on the gods, the little girl screamed which got the father very angry and behead the poor little girl as well.
His wife, upon seeing what has happened attempted to shout for help and that drew the attention of their neighbours but was attacked by the husband and beheaded as well.
The killing of the wife and kids caused serious mayhem between the woman’s family who are in-laws to the suspect to storm the community to kill the suspect meeting fierce resistance from the community members in Kulpelga.
Reports claimed that the suspect is in custody of the community vigilante group and the police are being contacted for a rescue from the angry mob that has besieged the community threatening to lynch him.
