Ayodele Fayose a former Ekiti State Governor has vowed to send Olusegun Obasanjo back to jail if he becomes the president of Nigeria.
Olusegun Obasanjo made a comment about about the late Buruji Kashamu which Ayodele Fayose debunked.
A former Ogun senator and Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Kashamu died on Saturday at First Cardiology Consultants Hospital in Lagos after suffering from COVID-19.
In a condolence message sent to Ogun State Government by Obasanjo, said Kashamu’s death was ‘sad’ his life and history left ‘lessons for those of all us on this side of the veil’.

In Obasanjo’s statement which Fayose reacted to said it was ‘regrettable that Obasanjo could say what he said about Buruji Kashmawu after his death and when he can no longer question him’.
“Can Obasanjo say in good conscience that he did not at some point collaborated with Kashamu and most of the things he (Kashamu) did politically were not with his collaboration,”
Obasanjo in his reaction to the critics stated that people can mourn him the way they like after his death.
Obasanjo told Nigerians mocking him over his comments on Kashamu to learn from the lives of the deceased and live well.

In a television interview sighted by LailasNews,Fayose said that he is praying one day God will give him the chance of becoming the President of the country and he will send the former president of Nigeria back to prioson.
