A report by ESPN indicates that Argentine international footballer Lionel Messi, including his Barcelona teammates will be tested for deadly Coronavirus ahead of their Champions League encounter with Italian side Napoli on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

The entire Barcelona team will undergo very strict tests in their arrival and departure in Italy in accordance to a memo sent to them by the Italian government.

The Barcelona squad, who are traveling to the south of Italy on Monday, will go through a temperature screening control on arrival at Napoli-Capodichino airport.

The report added that if any of the traveling party is found to have a high temperature or fever they will be taken straight to the hospital for tests in line with the Disease Prevention and Control protocol.
